I represent Thomas Hill. I was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. I was married to Margaret Hill. We had a son, James. He was baptized – probably as an infant – on July 10, 1770.
