I represent Thomas Robert Hardy. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British colonial period, an attorney by trade. I served as Clerk of the West Florida General Assembly from 1766 to 1771. The will of Simon Amory, dated August 1765, identified me as the clerk of the Attorney General of West Florida, Edmund Rush Wegg. I had a son, Thomas Francis, who was baptized on September 28, 1769. His mother was Catherine Williams. According to my 1768 petition for a grant of land on the Mississippi River, I had a family of five.
