I represent Charles Grant. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British colonial period. I appeared on a list of inhabitants of the town for February 1780, where I was identified as a carpenter. I was apparently no fan of Governor Peter Chester as I signed a petition of grievances against him on March 10, 1779 at the Carolina Coffee House in Pensacola.
