I represent Phillip Gains, the son of Phillip and Ann Gains. We lived in Pensacola during the British colonial period. I was baptized – most likely as an infant – on June 25, 1769. My baptism was recorded by Rev. Nathaniel Cotton, minister of West Florida at the time.
