I represent Mary Dean. My husband, Benjamin, was stationed in the garrison at Pensacola with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, having arrived with the regiment in the spring of 1770. We had a son named Thomas. Thomas died on September 10 or 16th, 1770. He probably still lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
