Carlos de Ville de Goutin

Military silhouetteRepresent this individual

I represent Carlos de Ville de Goutin. I was a soldier in the New Orleans Militia. I was born in 1759 in New Orleans, and I was a farmer before joining the militia. The militia served under General Bernardo de Gálvez at Manchac, Baton Rouge, Mobile, and the siege of Pensacola in 1781. I would eventually become a Captain of the Louisiana Regiment.
