Thomas Crawford

I represent Thomas Crawford. I served in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot, an infantry regiment stationed at the garrison of Pensacola. We arrived in 1765 and immediately suffered immense losses due to diseases like yellow fever and dysentery. My cause of death is not noted in the records, but I died at Pensacola on February 18, 1769. My burial was noted in the records of Rev. Nathaniel Cotton, minister of Pensacola in those early years of the colony of West Florida. I probably still lie buried in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
