I represent William Sangster. I was a corporal in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot, Lt. Col. Walsh’s company. I was born in Perthshire, Scotland, about 1738. I retired from the 31st Regiment as a sergeant after 24 years of service, and returned to my trade of weaving.
