William Claybrook

I represent William Claybrook. I served in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot, an infantry regiment stationed at the garrison of Pensacola. My wife was Elizabeth, presumed to be the “Mrs. Claybrook” enumerated in the Return of Women & Children of the 31st Regiment, Capt. Maturin’s Company, in Sept 1768. There were two unnamed children enumerated with her, but we had one more after that, Mary, whose baptism on January 23, 1770 was noted in the records of Rev. Nathaniel Cotton.
