I represent one of two children of Mrs. Claybrook enumerated with her in the Return of Women & Children of the 31st Regiment, Capt. Maturin’s Company, in Sept 1768. She is presumed to be Elizabeth Claybrook, who was married to William of His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot. We lived in Pensacola, attached to the garrison there. I and one other sibling were enumerated with Mrs. Claybrook; Elizabeth and William had one other child, Mary, baptized on January 23, 1770, who would have been our little sister.
