John Churdon

I represent John Churdon. I was a soldier in Lt. Col. Ralph Walsh‘s Company in His Majesty’s 31st Regiment of Foot. The 31st was an infantry regiment stationed at the garrison of Pensacola. We arrived in 1765 and immediately suffered immense losses due to diseases like yellow fever and dysentery. My cause of death is not noted in the records, but I died on August 16, 1767. I probably still lie buried in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
