Charlotte Mary Bruce

I represent Charlotte Mary Bruce. I was the daughter of James and Isabella Bruce. The available records do not show my birthdate, but I was younger than my brother, Archibald Scott. y father was Customs Collector at the Port of Pensacola from 1764 until the fall of Pensacola in May 1781, and served on the Council of West Florida from its inception. We also had a plantation on the Amite River in Mississippi, so the family may have gone back and forth. After the war, when we had lost everything, we followed many Loyalists in settling in Nova Scotia.
