Daniel Blommart

I represent Daniel Blommart. I was the natural son of John Blommart and Mary Dwyer, baptized – probably as an infant – on January 9, 1769. In the 1770s, my father moved out to the Natchez area; it is not known if my mother and I accompanied him. In a 1790 claim to the Crown for losses incurred in West Florida, I appeared on his behalf. I would have been at least 21 by then.
