I represent Antonio Zalaver. I was a Spanish private taken prisoner by HMS Mentor. The record does not give the circumstances of my capture, but the Mentor took several Spanish vessels as prizes during 1780, before its attention was taken by the invasion of Gálvez‘ forces. I died in 1781 in captivity in Pensacola, likely of illness.
