I represent the child of Mrs. Wooding enumerated with her in the Return of Women & Children of the 31st Regiment, Captain Vignole’s Company, Sept 1768. My father was not named in the return, nor does he appear in the August 1768 muster roll of the 31st. This could be as simple as a transcription error in the records, or that he transferred in to the 31st in the interim.
