I represent the child of Mrs. Wherry, enumerated with her in the Return of Women & Children, 31st Regiment of Foot, Lt. Col. Walsh‘s Company, Sept 1768. My father was not named in the Return, but according to the August 1768 muster roll for the 31st, it was Pvt. Robert Wherry.
