Lt. Col. David Wedderburn

I represent David Wedderburn (also spelled Wedderbourne). I was a lieutenant colonel and commander of His Majesty’s 22nd Regiment at Mobile. Perhaps in an effort to buck up the morale of my regiment (who had just received a shipment of rotten shoes, and it was delayed at that) I proposed the alteration of the lace and the cut of the 22nd’s uniforms. I also pushed hard to get a brass band for the regiment, rather than the usual drummers.
