I represent Maria Anne, daughter of Praise and Elizabeth Wadman. My father served in His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot, which joined the garrison of Pensacola in 1767. I was baptized December 29, 1770; I had a sister, Mary, who was baptized on November 4, 1770.
