I represent Phenix Stephens. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British colonial period. My name appears in a listing of inhabitants of the town for February 1780 in which I was identified as an artificer, or skilled craftsman. In the accounting of townspeople done by the Spanish after the capitulation in May 1781, I was identified as the constable.
