Mrs. Sampson

I represent Mrs. Sampson. I was on a list of Officer’s Ladies who had died during the years 1765-1767. There was a yellow fever epidemic during that time, which probably claimed me in 1765. My husband is not named on this list, but it may be Lt. Henry Sampson of His Majesty’s 31 Regiment of Foot. The sorrowful list also includes a child of a Lt. Sampson. We probably both still lie in unmarked graves in Pensacola.
