I represent James or John Robinson (one record has James; one has John, but it is clearly the same person). I served with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot. The 16th joined the garrison of Pensacola in the spring of 1770. I was married to Elizabeth Robinson, and we had a son named Robert. Robert was baptized – probably as an infant – on the same day he died: July 15, 1770. He likely still lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
