I represent Elizabeth Robinson. My husband was named either James or John (one record has James; one has John, but it is clearly the same person). He served with His Majesty’s 16th Regiment of Foot. The 16th joined the garrison of Pensacola in the spring of 1770. We had a son named Robert. Robert was baptized – probably as an infant – on the same day he died: July 15, 1770. He likely still lies in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
