I represent Archibald Robinson. I was an ensign and engineer with His Majesty’s 60th (Royal American) Regiment of Foot. In 1764, not long after taking over Pensacola from the Spanish, I was tasked with planning out the desperately needed updates, repairs, and upgrades to the rotting stockade they had left us with. I did a drawing of the fort plans which you can still see. In 1765 I consulted with Gov. George Johnstone and Maj. Robert Farmar on the fortifications for Iberville, a massive project which I planned in collaboration with Elias Durnford.
