I represent Elizabeth Portvin, daughter of Matthew and Jancton Portvin. I was baptized – probably as an infant – on March 28, 1769. We lived in Pensacola during the British colonial period, probably on the lot my father was granted in town, on Granby Street between Cumberland and George Streets (Intendencia Street between Baylen and Palafox today).
