I represent Andrew Phillips. I served in in His Majesty’s 21st Regiment of Foot. The regiment was garrisoned in Mobile and Pensacola from 1765 to 1770. My wife, Levia, died on November 13, 1768, probably of illness – diseases like yellow fever, dystentery and even scurvy were rampant in Pensacola in the early years of the colony. She probably still lies buried in an unmarked grave in Pensacola.
