I represent Joshua Parker. I was a resident of Pensacola during the British colonial period. In September 1769, I applied for a grant of land – 100 acres 100 miles above Mobile. My name appears on a listing of inhabitants of Pensacola in February 1780, where I was identified as a artificer, or skilled craftsman. I also appear in the 1767-1768 ledger books of Pensacola merchants Richard and Caleb Carpenter as having purchased soap and an iron teakettle.
