I represent Mary Ogden. I was the wife of Dr. Jonathan Ogden, a military surgeon at Pensacola. In 1776 I was granted land in my own name for 500 acres on Fairchild’s Creek in Natchez. My husband and I sold all our Natchez holdings in 1778, probably because his duties kept him at the garrison in Pensacola.
