I represent Sarah Neil. I was a resident of West Florida during the British period. I was one of the few women in the colony who petitioned for and was granted land in her own name. My lot was on the Escambia River north of the town of Pensacola. It adjoined the lot of Elinor Neil, and so a family relationship is assumed – possibly her sister-in-law.
